I realize that it's a fact of life...
...but as much as I adore watching you grow and learn new things and relish in the wonder of it all...
...the more you grow, the bigger you get, the farther away you are from being my little baby.
Not that I necessarily want you to stay a baby forever; that's silly...
...but you just turned one and the other day I looked back on your baby pictures and got all teary-eyed...
...because in one of the photos, you were absolutely swimming in that teensy little yellow onsie with the ducky on it...
...and now I wouldn't be able to get that same onsie over your head.
Well, your head is big and all, but still.
